We started building software together at Indiana University and quickly realized the businesses that needed the most help with technology were the ones nobody was building for: contractors, manufacturers, professional services firms, and regional companies running on spreadsheets and disconnected systems.
Today we work with businesses across the trades, manufacturing, commercial real estate, and professional services to map their operations, find the manual bottlenecks, and build AI-powered tools that eliminate them. Blake Marcotte
Lead Engineer
Blake leads all of BPN's engineering work. He builds the custom software, AI tools, and automation systems that our clients rely on daily. With a background in finance and data science from Indiana University, he brings a rare combination of business intuition and technical depth to every build. When we scope a project, Blake is the one turning it into production-ready software.

Phil Hess
Strategy & Operations
Phil runs BPN's client engagements from discovery through delivery. He sits down with business owners, maps their workflows, and identifies where AI and automation can make the biggest impact. Before co-founding BPN, he worked as a technology consultant at Plante Moran advising on digital transformation. He leads every client relationship and makes sure what we build actually solves the problem.

Nick Frische
Business Development
Nick is how most clients find BPN. He builds relationships with business owners across Indiana and the Midwest, understands their challenges, and figures out where we can help. With a background in informatics and data science from Indiana University, he has a talent for translating complex technical capabilities into language that non-technical teams actually understand. He also leads BPN's AI education workshops.
